Almere is the 5th largest city of the Netherlands, and a very young and dynamic place. The building of a new municipal theater is a €71,3 million project to build a public theater with a big auditorium for 1050 people and a small auditorium for 350 people, accomodating musical performances, stage plays and other cultural events. The requirements for the building called for the latest technology in acoustics.

Interact was selected by the City of Almere to manage and facilitate the entire process of development, including the selection of the architectural design and tendering of the construction. In this project, Interact works together with renowned architects of Japan SANAA and Construction company Ballast Nedam Bouw bv, speciale projecten of the Netherlands.

Project Bouwurk involves the construction of a new provincial government building in Leeuwarden. Interact was asked to commission this project on behalf of the provincial authorities, meaning that Interact manages and oversees the project from A to Z.
The new building will be located on the Tweebaksmarkt and construction activities are due to start in late 2006.
